GUADALUPE, AZ – An ADOT sub-contractor died following a two-vehicle collision at a construction site on I-10 Thursday, according to News 12.
A semi-truck driver hit a boom lift driven by the victim as the victim was crossing lanes in an attempt to get onto the right shoulder of I-10.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital, where they died.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
It is unclear if alcohol or speed were a factor in the incident.
