News: Semi-truck driver collides with ATV riders near Goodyear

GOODYEAR, AZ – According to AZFamily, two people were injured in an ATV vs. semi-truck collision near W MC 85 and S Bullard Ave on Wednesday.

A man and a woman were riding an ATV when they hit the cab of a semi-truck around 11 p.m. Neither ATV rider was wearing a helmet.

Rescue crews transported both riders to area hospitals. One person was admitted with life-threatening injuries, and the other had serious injuries. The semi-truck driver was not hurt.

Authorities closed down the area to investigate the collision.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
