News: Scooter rider in critical condition after NW Phoenix hit-and-run 

NORTHWEST PHOENIX, AZ – A scooter rider was left in critical condition following a hit-and-run collision that happened in Northwest Phoenix Saturday.

AZ Family said the scooter rider was struck by a car driver around 5 a.m. at the intersection of North 85th Avenue and West Indian School Road. The driver did not render aid to the scooter rider and fled the scene.

First responders rushed to the scene and transported the scooter rider to a local hospital.

Crews shut down the area temporarily for the scene clearance and investigation.

Police are working to determine what the hit-and-run suspect looked like and what vehicle they were driving.
