News: Scooter rider fatally struck by hit-and-run driver in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – A scooter rider lost his life to a hit-and-run crash that occurred along the Star Plaza Shopping Center on Saturday. 

According to AZFamily, the scooter rider, going west, was struck by a hit-and-run driver after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of North 67th Avenue and West Indian School Road. 

EMS rushed the scooter rider to a hospital, where he later died. He has since been identified as a 59-year-old Eden Cuautli Zacatelco. 

Police suspect the hit-and-run motorist was operating a black truck at the time of the collision. They urge the public to contact the Phoenix police department at the phone numbers listed in the source if they have more information on the collision or suspect. 

A full investigation is underway.
