PHOENIX, AZ – Authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision at 10th St and McDowell Rd on Saturday, according to AZ Family.
The driver of a gold car was heading north on 10th St when they ran a red light and collided with an eastbound white car on McDowell Rd. A third car was on westbound McDowell Rd when it became involved in the incident.
Rescue crews transported the two occupants of the gold car, a man and a woman, to an area hospital, where the woman died. The man is in stable condition.
The white car driver exited the car and left the scene in another vehicle.
The driver of the third car was not hurt in the collision. They remained at the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the wreck to contact them.
