PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix fire crews were summoned to a plane rollover crash reported at Deer Valley Airport on Friday.
The collision occurred before 1:00 p.m. Upon arrival, fire crews found an overturned plane and confirmed the pilot was able to self-extricate, according to ABC15.
Firefighters and medics evaluated the pilot at the crash scene. They said he was not seriously hurt and did not need to go to a hospital.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the details behind the crash.
