PARADISE VALLEY, AZ – A person was left in critical condition as a result of a bicycle crash that happened in Paradise Valley on Monday.
The person was struck by a vehicle while cycling on Desert Fairways Drive, according to AZFamily. EMS crews transported the cyclist to a hospital for treatment.
Officials shut down Desert Fairways between Palo Verde Place and Mummy Mountain Road, and by 2:20 p.m., said closures were still enforced.
The exact cause of the crash has not been made readily available.
