News: Pedestrian fatally struck while attempting to help injured dog

PARADISE VALLEY, AZ – A driver fatally collided with one pedestrian and injured another on Lincoln Dr and Tatum Blvd on Sunday, according to CBS 5.

The driver hit the pedestrians as they attempted to move an injured dog off the road.

Rescue crews transported both victims to an area hospital, where one of them died.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
