PHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed early this morning when he was hit by a vehilce along Loop 101 in the Scottsdale area, the Arizona Republic reports.
The victim was hit by a passing dump truck at about 4:30 a.m. while walking on the highway in the area of Cactus Road.
The unidentified male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear why he was walking on the roadway. However, a Cadillac SUV was parked on the shoulder nearby.
