PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, officials have disclosed additional details concerning a two-vehicle collision on I-10 WB near Verado Way on Wednesday.
The driver of a Nissan SUV was heading east on I-10 when they strayed off the road and went across the concrete barrier before plowing into another SUV in the westbound lanes around 9 p.m.
Both SUVs were driven by an adult with two juvenile passengers.
Rescue crews transported all four juveniles and the Nissan driver to an area hospital. Two of the juveniles sustained serious injuries, while another suffered life-threatening injuries.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
