TEMPE, AZ – According to AZFamily, officials have released the name of the man who died in a motorcycle wreck on I-10 near W Broadway Rd on Saturday.
Michael E. Boehne, 50, was riding a motorcycle when he crashed around 12:30 p.m. He was standing on the highway following the crash.
A person driving a Dodge Ram stopped to avoid the crash and was struck by a Dodge Durango. The collision sent the Ram past the motorcycle, which spun toward the median and hit a Kia SUV.
At least one vehicle struck Boehne.
First responders transported Boehne to an area hospital, where he died.
Crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened later that day.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
