TEMPE, AZ – According to AZFamily, a motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle collision near I-10 and W Broadway Rd on Saturday.
A 50-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when he crashed around 12:30 p.m.
A person driving a Dodge Ram pickup stopped to avoid the motorcyclist when a Dodge Durango hit them. The collision pushed the Ram into the motorcyclist and a Kia SUV.
First responders transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died. Officials have not released his name.
Crews closed down the area to process the scene. It was reopened later that day.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
