PHOENIX, AZ – Multiple drivers fatally collided with a person on Loop 202 between Priest Dr and N Center Pkwy on Monday, according to CBS 5.
A person was driving a Dodge Avenger east on Loop 202 when they slammed into the concrete median around 2 a.m. A person driving a Ford Escape then hit the Avenger.
Following the collision, the Avenger driver ended up in the roadway. Multiple drivers then ran over the Avenger driver.
Rescue crews pronounced the Avenger driver dead at the scene. Nobody else was hurt in the incident.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
