MESA, AZ – Drivers in the Mesa region were faced with delays following a crash on Loop-101 this afternoon.
According to Arizona DoT, the crash took place shortly before 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near the Apache Boulevard overpass.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, at least two center lanes were closed as a result, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
We do not know at this time if anyone was injured in the wreck. All lanes were reopened by 1:45 p.m.
