PHOENIX, AZ – Three women had to go to a hospital following a multi-vehicle wreck that happened at the intersection of 7th Street and McDowell Road on Wednesday.
The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m., and the force of the collision entrapped or pinned two individuals, both of whom were extricated, according to KTAR.
One woman was left in stable condition, one was left in critical condition, and another in “extremely critical condition.”
Phoenix fire crews did not confirm the physical condition of the fourth woman, but said she refused to be taken to a hospital.
Police and transportation crews shut down the area temporarily to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation period.
