PHOENIX, AZ – A trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety went to the hospital after a three-vehicle collision on the highway in north Phoenix, reports abc15 Arizona.
Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Arizona State Road 51, or the Piestewa Freeway, just south of East Greenway Road.
Authorities have not released many details regarding the circumstances of the crash.
Medics transported the trooper to a local hospital with non-critical injuries. The other drivers involved in the accident did not sustain injuries.
