News: Motorcyclist seriously hurt in west Phoenix hit-and-run

PHOENIX, AZ – A male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries on Wednesday when a vehicle struck him at a busy intersection before fleeing the scene, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

The incident happened just after 3 a.m. near the intersection of North 35th Avenue and West Bethany Home Road, which is just southwest of Bethany Towne Center.

It’s unclear how the collision happened, but authorities described it as a hit-and-run accident.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital in critical condition.
