News: Motorcyclist dead after rear-end collision with truck in Sacaton 

SACATON, AZ – A motorcyclist died as a result of a rear-end collision involving a stake-bed truck on Sunday, AZ Family reports.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the crash happened before 6 a.m on I-10 East. Preliminary details show that the motorcyclist crashed into the back of a stake-bed truck and was ejected from their motorcycle before being struck by a passing vehicle. The impact of the crash led the motorcyclist to die from their injuries at the scene.

Officials shut down the eastbound lanes of the freeway, which could be seen for about ten miles from Casa Blanca Road to Pinal Avenue.

On a similar note, another collision occurred around 11 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway.

All closures were in effect until noon.
