News: Motorcycle crash kills man in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A motorcycle accident left one man dead near North Fairview Avenue and West Wetmore Road Sunday night.

KGUN 9 said the motorcyclist was heading west on Wetmore Road when he hit a traffic signal in the road. 

Police identified the motorcyclist as a 50-year-old man James H. Sturgill. Sturgill rode a black 2014 Harley-Davidson FLHXS motorcycle. 

Police said impairment and speeding could have been the cause of the collision. The case is under investigation. The time of the crash was not reported.
