PHOENIX, AZ – A morning collision involving at least two vehicles blocked all of the southbound lanes of the interstate during rush hour in Phoenix today, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.
Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. on the southbound side of the Arizona Veterans Highway, or I-17, just north of West Dunlap Avenue.
Crews worked to clear the scene by around 9:30 a.m., at which point all lanes reopened.
Officials have not yet advised of injuries or explained how the accident occurred. We will update the blog if we learn more about the circumstances of the collision.
