News: Mesa teen killed in hit-and-run on I-17 near Camp Verde

PHOENIX, AZ – Police are searching for the driver involved in a deadly multi-vehicle collision near Camp Verde early Saturday.

According to KTAR, the incident occurred at about 1:10 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near SR-179.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit, 19-year-old Charles Mann, suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. His Passenger, 19-year-old Taylor Ross of Chandler, was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
