News: Man sent to hospital following car-pedestrian crash in West Phoenix 

WEST PHOENIX, AZ – A man was sent to a hospital following a car-pedestrian crash that took place in West Phoenix on Wednesday, 12News reports.

The man was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road. Phoenix police and EMS crews arrived at the scene after 5:30 a.m.

Ambulance personnel hurried the male pedestrian to the emergency room, where he received treatment for life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene. Authorities did not say if the motorist will face charges or whether they were cited.
