WEST PHOENIX, AZ – A 44-year-old man lost his life after he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in West Phoenix on Wednesday, 12News reports.
The 44-year-old man, later identified as Michael Arvallo, was walking outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a car. This happened in the area of 67th Avenue and McDowell Road.
The driver fled the scene prior to the police’s arrival around 7:30 p.m.
Police declared Arvallo dead at the scene.
Police have since located the suspect’s vehicle, but not the suspect themself.
