TUCSON, AZ – A man died on Sunday morning after losing control of his vehicle at an East Speedway Boulevard intersection and crashing into Empire Beauty School, News 4 Tucson reports.
According to authorities, the collision occurred at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North Country Club Road around 6:30 am.
23-year-old David Gabriel Castro was driving southbound in a Honda Accord when he lost control, hit a curb, and crashed into the beauty school. He was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.
Empire Beauty School announced on social media that it would be closed while the accident was investigated and the damage was addressed.
