News: Man charged with manslaughter following crash outside Scottsdale Stadium 

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A man is being charged with manslaughter following a crash outside Scottsdale Stadium on Sunday, AZFamily said.

The incident happened off Civic Center Plaza and Osborn Road. Police said 21-year-old Ahmed Adel Al-Hassainy was reportedly speeding and under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he crashed his car into a utility pole.

Adel Al-Hassainy’s passenger, Mario Gonzalez, also 21, died from his injuries.

Adel Al-Hassainy sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to a hospital. Upon his release, police booked him into jail.

A full investigation is underway.
