SURPRISE, AZ – According to AZFamily, a man has been arrested for a fatal crash that killed two sisters near W Deer Valley Rd and W Williams Rd on Oct. 14, 2023.
Shawn David Bundy, 23, was allegedly impaired as he drove a Dodge Ram and collided with a Honda Civic around 2 a.m.
The two occupants of the Civic, Bea Cueto, 19, and Althea Cueto, 20, died in the collision.
Authorities determined Bundy was impaired and charged him with second-degree murder, endangerment, aggressive driving, excessive speed, reckless manslaughter, DUI to the slightest degree, and DUI with a BAC of .08 or above.
Bundy has since been arrested. His bond is set at $200,000.
