CASA GRANDE, AZ – A 24-year-old man was killed in a crash involving two trains on Trekell Road on Sunday, Fox10Phoenix reports.
According to Casa Grande Police, the 24-year-old man was parked on the railroad tracks inside the crossing arms when he was struck by two oncoming trains while he was still inside. The force of the collision led the man to succumb to his injuries.
Police have not confirmed why the man was parked on the tracks and have not released his identity.
