WEST PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix Police arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of DUI in connection with a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian in West Phoenix on Saturday.
Arizona Family said the 21-year-old man, later identified as Antonio Ely Little, ran over a pedestrian with his vehicle in the area of 75th Avenue and McDowell Road before fleeing the scene.
Police and EMS crews responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. An ambulance hurried the male pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police located Little and arrested him, saying he exhibited signs of impairment. Police booked him into jail and said his toxicology results are pending.
Depending on the results, Little could be charged with DUI. And depending on the investigation, he could face several other charges.
