PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian died after he was struck by a vehicle in Phoenix on Friday, according to Fox10Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the pedestrian was walking in the area of 7th Avenue and Osborn Road when he was struck midblock by a vehicle.
EMS crews rushed the male pedestrian to a hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle continued driving away and went home. After arriving home, he noticed the damage on his vehicle and returned to the scene, telling officers that he did not know he had hit something.
Police said the driver did not show signs of impairment.
The pedestrian’s name has not been released.
A full investigation is underway.
