News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures pedestrian in New River

NEW RIVER, AZ – A hit-and-run driver collided with an 83-year-old woman at Desert Hills Dr and 29th Ave Sunday, according to AZ Family.

The driver of a 2017-2022 GMC Canyon or a Chevrolet Colorado hit the victim around 6:40 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
