PINAL COUNTY, AZ – According to AZ Family, a hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a bicyclist on W Battaglia Dr near S Yucatan Rd on Wednesday.
A person driving a white SUV or pickup truck was heading west on Battaglia Dr when they hit James Kemp, 29, as Kemp was riding his bicycle between 5 a.m. and 5:40 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Kemp to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the crash to contact them.
The incident is under investigation by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
