PHOENIX, AZ – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a man near N 19th Ave and W Van Buren St on Tuesday, according to AZFamily.
The driver hit the victim around 3:30 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver fled the scene. Authorities have not released details concerning the suspect or their vehicle.
Emergency crews shut down the area to investigate the incident. The scene is now open.
