WEST CHANDLER, AZ – An 8-year-old girl was left in serious condition as a result of a four-car crash at the Loop 202 East and South Kyrene Road connector Thursday.
The impact of the four-car crash had either pinned or entrapped the girl inside a vehicle and called for extrication conducted by fire crews, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.
All other drivers and occupants were spared from injuries.
Law enforcement and Arizona Department of Transportation workers closed the eastbound directions to accommodate the scene clearance process.
Officials have not specified the exact cause of the multi-vehicle collision or said if they cited anyone for their involvement in Thursday’s wreck.
