PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, officers are investigating a train vs. pedestrian collision near downtown Phoenix that occurred late Tuesday night.
The train hit a woman near South 1st Street and East Jackson Street around 11 p.m.
First responders transported the woman to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Crews shut down the area to investigate the collision. The scene has been reopened.
