News: Gilbert PD arrests 1, cites 2 others after E-motorcycle-vehicle crash 

GILBERT, AZ – Gilbert police arrested one person and cited two others following a crash between an E-motorcycle and vehicle on Wednesday.

Gilbert Police told Arizona Family the incident unfolded around 8:30 p.m. on Lindsay Road near Freestone Park. A 14-year-old riding an electric motorcycle failed to yield and collided with another vehicle.

First responders rushed the 14-year-old to a hospital for treatment of injuries deemed serious, but non-life-threatening. Police cited the teenager for operating the electric motorcycle without a valid driver’s license and also cited the driver for driving on a suspended license.

Police arrested the teenager’s mother for intentionally allowing her teenager to operate the electric motorcycle without a license.
