TEMPE, AZ – Local police and fire crews were summoned to the scene of a vehicle fire that happened on Loop 202 Red Mountain West near Scottsdale Road on Tuesday.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said officials arrived at the scene before 9 p.m. and blocked several right lanes so fire crews could extinguish the flames.

Authorities have not disclosed the exact cause of the vehicle fire or said whether anyone was injured.
