CHANDLER, AZ – According to 12 News, authorities have arrested a man in connection with a deadly three-vehicle collision near N Dobson Rd and W Ray Rd Monday.
Jorrell Yazzie, 29, was allegedly intoxicated when he collided with a vehicle driven by a 43-year-old and a car operated by Chon Tran, 68, around 1:30 a.m.
Rescue crews transported Tran and the other driver to an area hospital, where Tran died.
Authorities believe speed and impairment were factors in the crash. They arrested Yazzie, who had a BAC of 0.226, and charged him with manslaughter and aggravated assault.
