WICKENBURG, AZ – An Alpha Trainer plane experienced an engine failure, which led to a plane crash that happened near the Wickenburg Municipal Airport on Thursday.
The collision took place around 6:45 a.m. According to 12News, the pilot was able to make an emergency landing in a small desert plot of land, prior to the plane flipping over. The plane occupants were left with minor injuries.
An investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration is underway.
