CHANDLER, AZ – According to CBS 5, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian at Ocotillo Road and Chandler Paseo Trail on Monday.
The driver hit a pedestrian around 7 a.m. They did not stop and struck another vehicle at McQueen Rd and Ocotillo Rd before exiting the car and fleeing the area on foot.
Authorities located and arrested the suspect.
Officials have not released the name of the pedestrian who was killed.
The incident is under investigation by the Chandler Police Department.
