PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, a driver fatally collided with a male pedestrian near N 18th St and E Glendale Ave on Saturday.
A woman was driving when she hit the man as he was trying to cross the street outside of a marked crosswalk around 11:30 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
