PHOENIX, AZ – A driver fatally collided with a man on I-10 WB near N 27th Ave on Friday, according to AZFamily.
The driver of a Hyundai SUV hit the victim as he was walking on westbound I-10 around 3:20 a.m.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
The driver stayed at the scene following the collision. Authorities determined they were not impaired.
Crews closed down the scene to process the crash. The area was reopened around 5:45 a.m.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
