PHOENIX, AZ – A driver hit a woman near South 7th Avenue and West Corona Avenue on Wednesday night, according to AZFamily.
The driver hit the woman as she was walking on the road around 10 p.m.
First responders transported the woman to an area hospital in critical condition.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Officials do not believe the driver was impaired.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
