PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZ Family, a driver collided with a pedestrian near S 24th St and E Baseline Rd Wednesday.
The driver hit the unidentified man as he crossed the street around 2 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene.
Authorities do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
