PHOENIX, AZ – A driver collided with a man using a motorized wheelchair at 7th St and E Southern Ave on Monday, according to 12 News.
The driver hit the victim around 10 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene. Authorities do not believe the driver was impaired.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
