PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, authorities are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle collision that happened near N 23rd Ave and W Happy Valley Rd on Sunday.
Leo Kelly, 23, was heading west on Happy Valley Rd and was turning onto southbound N 23rd Ave when he collided with another vehicle. The collision sent the two vehicles crashing into a parked city bus. Nobody was on the bus at the time of the crash.
Rescue crews pronounced Kelly dead at the scene and transported the other driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe impairment may have played a role in the incident.
No arrests have been made at this time.
