News: Driver hits, injures woman near Scottsdale Airport

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver collided with a female pedestrian at N Scottsdale Rd and E Thunderbird Rd on Thursday.

The driver hit the victim around 5 a.m.

First responders transported the woman to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

It is unknown if impairment or impairment played a role in the collision.

Following the crash, crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 9 a.m.

The Scottsdale Police’s Vehicle Crimes and Reconstruction Unit detectives are investigating the incident.
