News: Driver hits, injures man near Village at West Meadow

PHOENIX, AZ – A driver struck and injured a male pedestrian near N 67th Avenue and W Campbell Ave on Tuesday, according to AZ Family.

The driver collided with the victim as he was walking in the middle of the road around 6 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital in critical condition.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
