PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver died after he slammed into a utility pole near South 7th Avenue and West Watkins Street Monday.
Carlos Beltran, 29, may have been speeding while heading south on South 7th Ave when he lost control of the vehicle and plowed into the pole around 12:45 a.m.
Beltran was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car during the collision.
First responders transported Beltran to an area hospital, where he died.
