CHANDLER, AZ – A driver died after he slammed into a power pole near S McQueen Rd and Knox Rd on Sunday, according to AZFamily.
David Ramirez Velasco, 27, was driving when he collided with the pole around 9 p.m.
Following the collision, the car caught on fire.
First responders pronounced Velasco dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
