PHOENIX, AZ – A driver struck and killed a male pedestrian on W Baseline Rd near 52nd Ave Friday, according to AZ Family.
The driver hit Randy Long as Long was crossing Baseline Rd around 4:30 a.m.
Emergency crews transported Long to an area hospital, where he died.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
It is unclear if alcohol or speed played a role in the incident.
